Historic Formula Ford tyre the ACB9, was originally developed for Formula Ford 1600.
The ACB9 is currently used for Formula Ford 1600 in historic championships that qualify under the select lightweight historic category pre the 1974 cut off period and historic Formula 1 1000cc.
Also used in small bore vintage applications such as MG midgets, frog eyed sprints etc.

The ACB9 is available in 3 sizes as a front and rear fitment.

Limited compound available to ensure level playing field for competitors:

  • A25 Formual Ford specification avaiable only in 5.0/22.0-13 (spec - 7267) and 6.5/23.0-13 (spec - 7290). These are the only specifications to carry the 'FF' designation on the sidewall
  • A37 Historic F1 1000cc specification 5.0/22.0-13 (spec - 7660) and 6.5/23.0-13 (spec - 7661) which can also be used for light weight sprint and hillclimb applications
  • A29 hard compound ideal for school use
